Many older Acorn machines don't have built in hard disk support, floppies were sufficient. Unfortunately this is now a bit restricting and if you are still using one of these machines then even a small amount of built-in storage could make the difference between a usable machine and a door stop.

Features

• 8 bit podule interface
• 1 internal IDE port, supporting a 2.5inch hard drive
• 1 External connector for up to two devices
• 1Mb Flash ROM for driver software
• Support for Hard disk, CD-ROM, ZIP100/250, LS120 (DOS format) and Compact Flash/Microdrive.

The card ships with Simtec's driver software (IDEFS etc) programmed into the flash and the drive formatting software (!IDETool) and flash programming software (!Snafu) supplied on disc or by e-mail.
